As the archaeologist, Jackie’s role is to investigate the early excavations at Thetford Priory, the buildings and the finds, especially those that relate to the tombs. She has been a consultant buildings archaeologist for many years, also specialising in loose architectural and sepulchral stone, and she remains the Peterborough Cathedral Archaeologist, working on a range of projects.
