Lisa is part of the team of researchers who provide historical context to the project discoveries; in addition she is doing focused research on the early 17th century tomb of Henry Howard, the poet Earl of Surrey, also located at Framlingham St. Michaels, to tie the project findings into the larger story of Howard memorialization.
Lisa is a Tudor political historian, who took her PhD at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and came to the project as a result of her research for a proposed book on the visual and material use of the insignia of the Order of the Garter.
